I have completely updated the Bondi Band post…check out all the new stuff! HERE

PLEASE READ THERE HAVE BEEN SOME CHANGES (TO BENEFIT YOU 8) )

Note: all the awesome prizes were provided through contributions from Maryland Athletic Center, McDonogh Dance Company, and Team In Training!

So so so sorry for this week’s last of FunDay.  Disney took more out of me then expected =) But thus we have raffle #2 to benefit Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (aka my heart at soul).  As many of you know, I will be running my third race with Leukemia and Lymphoma Soceity’s Team In Training at the San Diego Marathon on June 6th.  So want a chance to win some awesome stuff and help out an amazing cause…read on.

Before I get to all the awesome stuff I wanted to share this story with you.  This weekend as I was heading down to Orlando for the Princess Half with Team in Training, I started talking to a man and his daughter in the airport who had noticed my TNT shirt.  He explained to me how thankful he was for TNT.  Long story short, his 4 year old son developed a rare form of Leukemia that 5 years ago would have been an unfortunate death sentence.  However, because of a new treatment developed 100% through TNT dollars, his son is now 7 years old and 2 years in remission!  These dollars are going to new treatments to save and improve lives!

Here how it goes, there will be 2 winners! One chosen 3/20 and one chosen 4/1! The first winner will chose ONE item from EACH category!

Category 1: 3rd Generation Ipod Shuffle!

Great for runs or workouts when you don’t want to carry anything!

1st Place will get first choice of color and 2nd place will get the other one!  If you are a guy or truly detest the color pink, or seriously hate green (how can you hate green, its my fave!) I can get you a different color of the same product! You win, you chose!

CATEGORY 2 JACKET!

Brooks Women’s Half Zip

White Podium half zip in small/medium (this is cut fairly roomy, not a compression/tight fit so it can definitely fit a larger size).

Danskin Now Full Zip

This is a size small (4/6) but again its fairly roomy.  It’s an awesome “Coral Fire” color, great spring color!

EACH WINNER will Receive: Engery Gu’s, Gels, and Chews Variety Mix!

EACH WINNER WILL RECEIVE: Team in Training Tech Tee and Emergency Shoe Tag

In your choice of women’s small or medium. (I also have a white women’s medium without the crab on it if you like)

CATEGORY 3: Running Hat

My Grandma died of complications from Jaw cancer. I figure if we can find a way to beat cancer then others will not have to go through the same loss :)

  6. Hi Katye! I am proud to support a fellow member of the Team! :) I donated! I am doing my first two marathons this summer through TNT. I’ll be at RnR San Diego June 6 (see you there!) and also RnR Seattle June 26. My cousin’s son is 6-years-old and was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was just 4 years old. I’m doing both of my marathons in his honor. It is truly incredible to raise money for such a worthy cause. GO TEAM!

P.S. I found this through Mel – Tall Mom. :)

  9. I just donated $5! Good luck with your fund raising!

I love running because it allows me to to have something that is 100% mine. I own it. When I’m running, I’m not mom or wife or maid or cook or tutor or party planner. I can just run and be me. Love it!

I’m already following you on my blog roll and have posted this on my blog! Thanks!
