I AM SO BEHIND! Sorry all…hopefully I will get myself caught up soon. But I just wanted to do a quick shout out post to my friend Heather who has helped me numerous time to book Disney accomodations. Whether you are planning to go to Disney (land or world) just for a race or for a family vacation, Heather is the way to go. And she booked me my awesome Pirate room. Enough said.

A lot of people don’t realize it is free to use a travel agent
^(not only are Heather’s quotes free, she ends up saving you a bunch because she has access to deals most may not know about)
“I handle all the stress so the client doesn’t have to worry about a thing. I mail out all the documents for packages, arrange magical express, can help with dining, etc. <(she mails everything you need right to your house so you don’t need to worry about anything)
I can also takeover a current reservation as long as it was booked straight through Disney.
If a better rate comes out after we have booked, I can modify the reservation to reflect the lower price (unless you are within 45 days for packages) I am always on the lookout for new discounts and better deals to make trips more affordable.
I have stayed at values, moderates, and deluxes, and eaten at most of the restaurants. I have of course run the races and after I run princess I will have done all the 1/2′s.”
So pretty much, she knows her stuff. She visits Disney frequently and can help you determine your best bet for your specific needs (just there for a weekend for a race? Have a family with little ones? Planning with teenagers? Want to go during Christmas? Want to go during the rather warm months? She can tell you what will work best for your specific situation. She’s really great and working with your price point as well…For example I’ve told her before, “I want to stay somewhere nice but not crazy expensive. I want to have the Disney experience while staying in the resort and have _____ to spend.” and she finds the best accommodations even when I have no idea what I want. She’s also super helpful working out payment schedules and deadlines.

Thanks for telling us about Heather. I will book mark her page for future reference. Husband and I are planning to take our family back in a few years. We’re the only couple who doesn’t qualify for a military discount so it will be nice to have an insider help us out
